Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Kissimmee, FL.

I’ve also wanted to try Uno Pizzeria and never had an opportunity. I think their frozen pizzas are the best frozen pizzas out of any I have tried and was hoping the pizza would be a better version of that.

It turns out that the pizza wasn’t as saucy and robust as the frozen pizza. It wasn’t terrible and I would eat there again, but I wouldn’t make a special trip and it would probably be towards the bottom of the list if there were other places to try in the area.

Overall it’s really just a fancy Pizza Hut in my opinion.

This location sits on Bronson Memorial Highway and is definitely worth driving through. There are a lot of unique gift shops on this highway, including roadside attractions, and quite a number of restaurants that you don’t see around any more, like Arthur Treacher’s, Shoney’s, Del Taco, and even Uno.

THE RATINGS:

  • Garlic Bread: 6/10

  • Spaghetti & Meatballs: 6/10. The meatballs were a solid 8, but the sauce was weird and didn’t seem like it was the same that is on the pizza.

  • Numero Uno Deep Dish Pizza: 6.5/10
