Castaway, Marathon, FL.
Castaway is known for serving Lionfish, and more specifically, the King of the Jungle roll, which was pretty good; however the other popular item are the Lobster Enchiladas and they’re not very good in my opinion. These were both featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Guy Fieri really let me down. I don’t think I trust him any longer, he will definitely need to earn it back after those Lobster Enchiladas.
Parking here is a bit limited. If you’re visiting, just speak to the staff inside about where to park and be sure not to park in Berdine’s lot.
Overall it wasn’t terrible, I just had this place hyped up and it’s just like everywhere else I ate while visiting the keys….mediocre. Surprisingly, the Coconut Shrimp were the winner here.
