Dixie Fish Co., Fort Myers Beach, FL.
I first visited Dixie Fish Co. about five years ago to try its famous whole fried red snapper, and it was the best I had ever tasted. Five years later, it is still the best whole fried red snapper I’ve ever had.
HM Restaurant Group owns Dixie Fish Co., along with the two neighboring restaurants, Doc Ford’s and Bonita Fish Co. I haven’t tried Bonita Fish Co. yet, but Doc Ford’s is also excellent. Overall, though, I think Dixie Fish Co. is the best restaurant I’ve visited in the Fort Myers area.
