Hog Heaven Sports Bar & Grill, Islamorada, FL.

Leaving the Florida Keys, I was done with seafood, especially because I really expected more from the local food scene and most places were very mediocre.

Hog Heaven Sports Bar & Grill is a nice change of pace, but in my opinion, stick to the smoked items here, minus the wings.

THE RATINGS:

  • Chili Cheese Smash Burger: 5.5/10 (not a smash burger and the chili was dry with little flavor)

  • Hot Wings: 3/10 (To be fair, I don’t like smoked wings, mainly because of the texture, but I thought these would be more crispy since they’re fried)

  • Side Salad: 6/10

  • Iceberg Wedge w/ Chicken: 7/10

  • Pulled Pork Sandwich: 9/10

  • Mahi Tacos: 8/10

  • Cheeseburger Slider: 7/10

  • Pulled Pork Slider: 9/10
