Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD.

Camden Yards is one of the nicest ballparks that I have been to and I’ve been an Orioles fan for a very long time. We don’t get here too much because the city has really become unsafe and I’m not comfortable with walking anywhere outside of the ballpark, even during the day.

In the short distance that I did walk, I found boarded up buildings, a shank on the sidewalk, and someone kicking at cars and throwing objects at people walking. I’ve read that Baltimore has become unsafe over the years and I definitely can attest to that.

If you want to come here for a ballgame and head out, it’s more than fine, but I wouldn’t risk walking around the city outside of the surrounding blocks of the ballpark.

Camden Yards does have a value menu, so there are certain food items that you can get for around $5, but mostly everything else is pretty expensive. I can get a 30 pack of National Bohemia beer for about $20 in Pennsylvania and at the ballpark, a pounder can was $15.

THE RATINGS:

Warehouse Dog: 12-inch dog with horseradish-infused brick sauce, pit beef queso fundido, pickled pico and onions on a pretzel bun. 8/10

Popcorn: 5/10

Pink Lemonade: 5.5/10

Street Tacos: 6.5/10

National Bohemia Beer: 8/10. You have to get this at an O’s game, it’s a requirement if you’re a fan.
