Odette’s, New Hope, PA.
Odette’s is a beautiful restaurant in a great location, but unfortunately the food and service didn’t quite live up to the setting.
The restaurant itself is really nice, and the riverside view while dining is probably the highlight. Valet parking is also very convenient, and parking for restaurant guests is free during the week.
The calamari was easily the best thing I tried, but overall the food just wasn’t very good for what I expected from a place like this. The Caesar salad in particular was disappointing, and the burger was not cooked to medium, but rather well done. I think the truffle in the cheese also killed it for me. I don’t understand why everyone is crazy about truffle lately.
Service was also very slow, which took away from the experience quite a bit.
Odette’s definitely has the atmosphere, beautiful riverside setting, and convenient valet parking going for it, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it.
THE RATINGS:
Golden Hour Cocktail 7/10
