Porky’s Bayside Restaurant, Marathon, FL.
Driving by Porky’s, I frequently saw a packed parking lot, so I thought it would be worth checking out. Unfortunately, my dinner experience did not live up to the expectations. It was probably the worst meal I had during my visit to the Florida Keys. Our party was also seated directly next to a speaker, which made it extremely loud and difficult to have a conversation. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return.
THE RATINGS:
French Onion Soup: 7/10
BBQ Pulled Pork: 5/10
Key West Crab Cakes: 6.5/10
Crab Rangoon: 1/10. Had to send these back. They tasted like someone sprayed windex in it and the texture was off. Pretty sure these would give someone food poisoning.
Whole Fried Snapper: 5/10
