Rickey’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, Hollywood, FL.

Rickey’s is exactly what I’m looking for in a sports bar. It’s a little divey, huge menu, friendly people, and good bar food.

If you’ve ever seen the AMAZING documentary, King of Kong, this restaurant may look familiar as many parts were filmed here in the restaurant, and that is because it was owned by Billy Mitchell’s family.

The hot sauce is actually amazing and they sell small bottles here for $5.99, you can also order them online.

Apparently Billy no longer visits the restaurant since his parents passed away. The restaurant was sold to the bartender of 20 years, but Billy still owns the hot sauce label. I honestly came here just as a fan of the documentary, but if I was in the area, I would definitely visit again.

THE RATINGS:

  • French Onion Soup: 8.5/10

  • Original Breaded Mild Wings w/ Garlic: 6/10 (not much flavor)

  • The Country Boy Burger: 6/10

  • Original Breaded Hot Wings: 7/10

  • Naked Hot Wings: 8.5/10

  • Rickey’s Hot Sauce: 9.5/10
