The Green Dragon Farmer’s Market, Ephrata, Pa.

Hands down the best farmer’s market I’ve ever been to. I've heard great things and was not disappointed. The Green Dragon is only open on Friday’s and that’s a shame because I’d probably go every day if I lived closer. This place is huge and the amount of home made food that is dutch/amish inspired is out of this world. Honestly, this is one of the best places I’ve ever been too and exactly what I’m looking for in a market.

If you’re in the Lancaster area on a Friday, this is definitely a must!

Newswanger’s

Sausage Sandwich: 9/10

Cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The onion’s were a little too sweet and if they changed those out and added peppers, it would be a perfect 10. I’d definitely get this at every future visit.

Lapp Pretezel’s Plus!

Soft Pretzel: 8.5/10

The Lapp’s families share their recipe throughout the region. This was very good, but the Lapp’s Pretzels in the Bloomsburg, PA. area are better.

New Holland Meat Market

Black Pepper Beef Jerky: 9/10

This is just what I’m looking for in jerky, salty, peppery, and ton of flavor.

Hometown Harvest

Strawberry Smoothie: 6.5/10

Berry Breeze Smoothie: 7/10

I’m spoiled with the amazing smoothies at International Market World in Auburndale, FL. These were good, but were lacking flavor just a bit.

Leacock Barbecue

Smoked Chick Leg & Thigh: 9/10

Exactly on par with the BBQ Barn in Lancaster, PA. Still not as good as a lot of local fire companies, but darn near perfect. I’d definitely get this at every future visit.

Burger & Fries

Orangeade: 9/10

Very inexpensive and great flavor. Lots of orange, mid on the sugar.
