The 14th Annual Berwick River Fest, Bloomsburg, Pa. -October 3rd-5th 2025

Berwick PA hosts a Riverfest annually, immediately after the Bloomsburg Fair. It’s a busy weekend as it falls on the same weekend as the Covered Bridge festival in Bloomsburg. In my opinion, the Berwick Riverfest is better in terms of food. There are a lot of vendors that come here whereas Covered Bridge has a lot of vendors that stayed from the fair the previous week.

If you live in the area and haven’t been to Riverfest, I would recommend marking it down on your calendars to visit next year.

Yakisoba’s Noodles and Teriyaki

Pork Yaskisoba Noodles - 10/10.

This stand appeared at the Bloomsburg fair many years ago and haven’t been there for awhile. I talked to the owner and they are from Buffalo, NY. and do various small events throughout the year. If you see this stand, it’s worth it, they are the best.

R Bar & Grill

Hot Wings - 6/10

The wings are the right texture, but I didn’t care for the wing sauce, it tastes like spicy ketchup. I will have to try some of the other flavors next time.

Picosita Tacos

Lengua (Tongue) Tacos - 8/10

Chorizo Tacos - 8.5/10

Wicked Pissah Lobster Company

Wicked Chili Dog - 9/10

This was a nice looking hot dog and the chili was great too.

Marcy’s Orangeade

Orangeade - 9/10

El Puerto de las Empanadas

Spicy Beef Empanada - 10/10

The best!

The Green & Yellow Trailer

Deep Fried Mushroom and Cauliflower - 8/10

Unicorn Concessions

Strawberry Shortcake Sundae - 10/10

These are the best, so good I went back and got seconds.

Too Hot or Not to Hot LLC

Chili Cheeseburger - 9/10

They’re known for the deep fried chili dogs and while they’re great, I think I might like the burger better.

Joe’s Homemade Pierogies and Mini Doughnuts

Chocolate Peanut Butter and Birthday Cake Doughnuts - 10/10

These are the best and so are their pierogis.

Lonczyski’s Homemade Foods

Pierogies with Butter and Onions - 8/10

Deep Fried Delight

Breaded Chicken Fingers - 7.5/10

Scooper’s Ice Cream & Special Events

Fireball - 8.5/10

I am not quite sure what a fireball is. I believe it’s a Berwick, PA. thing. It’s really just a giant meatball that can sometimes be spicy. This one wasn’t spicy, but it was really good.

Stemmrich Blueberry Farm Concessions

Blueberry Cider Slushy - 7/10
