The 43rd Annual Covered Bridge and Arts Festival, Bloomsburg, Pa. - Saturday, October 2nd-5th 2025
The Covered Bridge Festival is a post Bloomsburg Fair festival that encompasses the area of Gate 3, straight up until the midway on the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are both free.
Many of the food vendors at the fair stuck around for Covered Bridge, although there were food vendors here that weren’t at the fair. It really doesn’t change much from year to year, I actually feel like there were fewer here than last year, but overall, it was about the same.
Bassetts
Vegetable Beef Soup - 7.5/10
Hamburger Vegetable Soup - 6.5/10
I’ve had other soups here that are top notch, it’s worth a visit.
Edith’s Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie - 10/10. The best you can buy.
Benton Cider Mill
Apple Cider (non-pasteurized) - 10/10, the best!
John the Greek Food Concessions
Gyro - 10/10. The best I’ve ever had. Got it to go, so the picture doesn’t do it justice.
Pepperoni Pizza - 5.5/10
Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzels
Chicken Bacon Ranch Stuffed Pretzel - 6.5/10. The pretzel was good, but the chicken and bacon were lacking, kind of a weird texture.
Jackie’s French Fries and Funnle Cakes
Chili Cheese Fries - 7.5/10.
The Best Iced Tea Anywhere, Period
Sweet Tea - 10/10, it really is the best. Although, Unicorn concessions gives them a run for their money. I’ll have to do a side by side next year.
