Buffet City, Winter Haven, FL.
This place was packed, and I don’t understand why. There are a ton of options at the buffet, but none of them are particularly good. The egg drop soup almost looked like Jell-O—it was thick, slimy, and had no flavor. The mushrooms were strange, and I questioned nearly everything else I put on my plate.
The most disturbing part was probably the hibachi area, where you place raw ingredients on a plate and hand them to the chef to cook on the grill. The chef then put the cooked stir-fry back onto the same plate that had held the raw meat.
I can easily review this place in two words: “BUFFET SHITTY.”
