Cock ‘n Bull, Lahaska, PA.

I don’t know that I’ve ever rated everything I’ve eaten at a restaurant with a perfect score. Cock n’ Bull wasn’t even somewhere I had planned on eating lunch—it just kind of happened because I was hungry and wanted to get out of the heat. WOW, talk about hitting the jackpot. This place has AMAZING food.

Not only is the food great, but the service was also excellent, and the décor has an old-world/colonial feel. It almost reminded me of being at a restaurant in Disney World. It even has that old wood, slightly musky smell that makes you feel like you’re eating somewhere with a lot of history.

The peach tea was made in-house, the pastrami was smoked in-house, and all of the sauces were also house-made. I can’t believe this place doesn’t have a higher Google review score, and honestly, that’s why I can never fully trust those reviews. I will absolutely be back.

THE RATINGS:

  • Fresh Peach Tea: 10/10

  • Lancaster Pastrami: 10/10

  • Buffalo Cauliflower: 10/10
