Zoubi, New Hope, PA.
Zoubi is a really cool hidden courtyard that feels like a little European secret garden—lots of greenery, flowers, string lights, and chandeliers, with tables tucked throughout. There is a small indoor dining area that is used when the weather isn’t so great, so if you do plan on dining here, I would suggest trying to book a table when the weather permits because the atmosphere is very unique.
Parking in downtown New Hope is a nightmare. There is street parking, but you likely won’t find a spot and will have to hope that one of the paid parking lots has open spaces. I paid $15 to park for two hours. Parking is enforced 24/7, and there are several meter attendants patrolling the town. I saw at least five vehicles getting tickets while walking down the street in the span of an hour. If you’re staying local, save yourself the headache and get an Uber.
THE RATINGS:
Complimentary Bread 9/10
Grilled Octopus: 8.5/10.
16 oz Prime NY Strip Steak: 8/10. The sauce and the peppercorns were what really made this stand out, but it came out well done instead of medium. If it was cooked to medium it would been way better.
House Cut Fries: 8/10
Garden Party Specialty Cocktail: 9.5/10
