Masser’s Chicken and Chops, Paxinos, PA.
Masser’s Chicken and Chops replaced Masser’s Chicken Shack, which was a building right next door to Masser’s Restaurant, and is more or less a quick service option.
The fried chicken and chops were okay, nothing special, but I would have them both again. The mashed potatoes tasted like they could be instant, but they’re honestly pretty good.
I’ve grown up in this area, so I’m familiar with pickled cabbage, but this pickled cabbage tasted like it was pulled out of a dumpster. It’s pretty sour, which I do like, but I can’t even describe the taste, other than cold garbage.
Overall, the staff are pleasant and my entire meal with a soda was about $14, so it’s definitely an affordable option if you’re looking to grab a quick bite.
THE RATINGS:
