Another great day for a street fair, but lacking food options, more this year than most. If you’re looking for a lot of food options, the spring fling is where it’s at.
I wasn’t really in the mood for bbq and only had Mickey’s smash burgers, but WOW did they hit the spot. I can’t believe how good these are coming off of a Blackstone, I don’t think I could do it.
I also picked up some sliced cherry peppers from Fathead Peppers. They’re really great and I can’t wait to put them on some cheesesteaks.
Mickey’s Shamrock Smash
Mickey’s Classic Oklahoma: 9.5/10. Great presentation, nice and greasy, darn near perfect
Chili Cheese Fries: 8/10. I remember these being a little better last year, but they were still solid. The peanut oil does numbers for fries.
