The Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg, Pa. - Friday, September 20th, 2025
The first day of this years fair and it’s going to be a good one. I finally tried Maddy’s dog bowl among others.
I noticed that some of the vendors have moved locations and upgraded their trailers/trucks, so if you can’t find them, just keep walking around.
Gunzey’s Hot Sausage- Midway
Hot Sausage - 10/10. The best I’ve ever had
Bubba’s Pig Roast - 5th St. and C Ave.
Bbq Pork Sandwich - 7/10
Horr’s Hot Dogs - 8th St. and D Ave.
Bacon PB Dog - 8/10
This surprisingly goes well together. They have a pickle dog this is great too.
Kohr’s the Original - 10th St. and B Ave.
Orangeade - 9/10
These are many locations all over the fairgrounds.
Danny’s Old Fashioned Root Beer - 10th St. and C Ave.
Root Beer - 10/10
It really is the best and they have a pretty cool stand.
Sweet Pickins Roasted Sweet Corn - 2nd Street (Bend of the race track by the rides)
Rice Pudding - 9/10
Roasted Sweet Corn - 10/10. The best!
Polock’s Pizza & Stromboli - 7th St. and B Ave.
Pizza - 1/10. SWEET SAUCE IS GROSS.
To be fair, this place always has a line and my family gives it a 9/10.
Vince’s Cheesesteaks - 5th St. and E Ave.
Cheesesteak - 8.5/10
Not as good as many years ago, but still one of the best, if not the best cheesesteak at the fair. 10 years ago this was a solid 10.
Maddy’s Doghouse - 5th St. and E Ave.
Dog Bowl with Steak, Chili, & Cheese - 7/10
This was okay, it just had too many fries and lacked steak, cheese, and chili.
They should do a timed challenge. Eat it all in 15 minutes with no hands and it’s free.
Folk’s Fresh Batter Dipped Vegetables - 10 St. and E Ave.
Mixed Fried Vegetables - 8/10
Mini’s Chocolate Tap - 10 St. and B Ave.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries -5/10
The chocolate was way too hard. Give it a try and see what you think!
