The Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg, Pa. - Saturday, September 20th, 2025
Only day two and I believe I found the best new food stand. Check out Gringarepas!
Gringarepa - 12th St. (By the petting zoo, area Gate 3)
Beef Gringarepa - 9.5/10.
Piping hot and exploding with flavor. So far, this is the best new food stand this year.
The Rolling Mac A-Roni - 12th St. and A Ave.
Brisket Mac & Cheese Bowl - 9/10
I can see why this place usually has a line, it’s fantastic!
Blazing Swine - 11th St. and A1 Ave.
Pulled Pork & Beef Brisket - 10/10
There are a lot of bbq stands at the fair and I’ve had most of them. This reigns supreme.
Brody’s Mac and Cheese - 10th St. and B1 Ave.
White Cheddar Mac and Cheese - 6/10
MK Bubble Drinks - 7th St. and D Ave.
Lemonade with Peach and Pineapple Boba - 8.5/10
Their speciality drinks are fantastic.
Bowman’s Fries - 3rd St. & A Ave. (Next to carnival games row)
Fresh Cut Fries - 10/10
Always the Best! I’ve been eating these every year since I’ve been a little kid,
Unicorn Concessions - Free Stage Blvd.
Fresh Brewed Sweet Tea - 9/10
Not overly sweet and tastes like it’s fresh brewed. Their desserts are excellent as well.
Starr’s Cider - Midway
Apple Cider (pasteurized) - 8.5/10
A bit more sweet than Benton Cider Mill and tastes more like apple sauce, not completely, but that’s where my mind went.
Benton Cider Mill - Midway
Apple Cider (non-pasteurized) - 10/10
I don’t think you’re going to find apple cider better than this. It is just a bit tart and tastes like you’re biting into a super crisp, fresh apple.
Dave’s Gyros - Midway
Gyro- 8/10
The meat tastes almost identical to John the Greek, but it fell just a bit flat in comparison. The people working there are super nice and offered to cut it in half, which makes it a bit easier to eat.
John the Greek Food Concessions - 7th St. and C Ave.
Gyro - 10/10
Nice hot, crisp pita. The sauce, pita, and veggies are what makes this a perfect gyro. I don’t recall ever having a better gyro anywhere else. There are John the Greek locations all throughout the fairgrounds; however I think this is the best spot.
El Puerto de las Empanadas - 4th St. and C Ave.
Spicy Beef Empanada - 9.5/10
Buffalo Chick Empanada - 9/10
Country Fried Fruit Pie - 6th St. and B Ave.
Cherry Fried Fruit Pie with Ice Cream - 8.5/10
The blueberry filling is still the best, but I’m determined to try them all.
Loch’s Maple - Right Inside Gate 3
Maple Milk Shake - 8/10
Very sweet and you really have to like maple syrup.
Feed the Fries - 5th St. and C Ave.
Hot Wings - 7.10
The wings are nice and crispy, but the sauce was very bland.
Lapps Pretzel Company - 3rd St. and F Ave.
Apple Cider Slushie - 7.5/10
This place has amazing stuffed pretzels. I also love their cinnamon and sour cream & onion pretzels. Their other location is next to the hot tubs.
Danny’s Fine Foods - 5th St. and E Ave.
Hot Sausage - 6/10
Not very warm and $3 more than other sausage stands. If they changed their bun, it would make a huge difference as well, just too much bun for the sausage.
Janet’s Crazy Cone - Right inside of Gate 5
Fresh Brewed Iced Tea - 6.10
Mexican Grill - Straight ahead of Gate 3
Deep Fried Taco - 6/10
Laubach’s Wings and Mountain Fries - Straight ahead of Gate 5
Mountain Fries - 9/10
They also have pretty good wings and are likely going to be the best place to get wings at the fair this year since Belly Buster isn’t serving them.
Vance’s of Bloomsburg - Straight ahead of Gate 5
Apple Dumpling - 9.5/10
