The Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg, Pa. - Sunday, September 21st, 2025

This is going to be a short one. I’m hoping to try the rest of the places that offer breakfast at some point this week.

Grandma’s Homemade Apple Dumplings - 6th St. and D Ave.

Coffee - 6/10

Scrambled Eggs - 7/10

Hashbrown - 6/10

Home Fries - 5/10

Sausage Gravy - 3/10

Sausage Links - 6/10

They offer a very cheap breakfast, so if you’re looking for something affordable, I don’t think you’ll find a better spot. The only problem with my reviews, is that I mainly go for taste, pricing isn’t something that typically affects my ratings.

Most of what I had here tasted like it was frozen and what I’ve purchased at grocery stores in the past. It’s not terrible, but not really my cup to tea, although their tea is supposed to be pretty good.

Bassett’s Catering - Midway

Scrambled Eggs - 6/10

Sausage Patty - 7/10

Scrapple - 8/10

Home Fries - 4/10

Sausage Gravy 8.5/10

Fresh Brewed Sweet Tea - 8/10

Coffee - 7/10

Bassett’s Catering have several different stands on the fairgrounds, but the one on the midway is their largest location I believe. This is a nice sit down breakfast and while it’s quite a bit more in cost compared to Grandma’s Homemade Apple Dumplings, there is definitely a bump in quality.

I enjoyed mostly everything I had, except for the home fries, which were burnt and had no flavor.

Check out their soups next door, they’re usually really good.
