The Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg, Pa. - Saturday, October 3rd, 2026

Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzels - 9th Street: 17A/23/27; E Ave W: 66

vs.

Lapp’s Soft Pretzels - 12th Street N: 38 & 42; F Ave W: 42

Two popular spots, but which one tastes better? LAPPS WINS!

This one may come down to preference in all honesty. I like the cheese and the texture of Lapps and it is less salty when comparing to Uncle Pauls.

My brother in law weighed them and if you’re looking at a cost comparison, you’re getting a better bang for your buck with Lapps.

Lapps’ Sweet Tea: 8/10

Lapp’s Ham & Cheese Stuffed Pretzel: 10/10

Uncle Paul’s Ham & Cheese Stuffed Pretzel: 9/10

Original Corn Fritter Guy - C1 Ave W: 105

Corn Fritters 6.5/10

These are okay. Too much butter, not enough syrup imo.

K & J BBQ - 5th St.

Brisket: 8/10

Nice and crunchy around the outside, too much bread.

Notis the Gyro King - N Ext 11th St: 143

Gyro: 9/10

The talk of the town and I understand why. This was my second visit this year, it’s outstanding. Definitely bring a friend if you get this or you won’t be eating anything else at the fair, it is huge.

Benton Cider Mill - 3rd Street: 96

Apple Cider (unpasteurized) 10/10

Everyone knows this is the best

M K Bubble Drinks - 7th Street: 58; A Ave W: 10

Caramel Apple Lemonade: 8/10

This was really good, a hint of caramel and apple, but if you stop here, you really want the Shark Tank.

Holy Bowls - Corner of 10th and D St.

Hallelujah: 8/10

Great fruit and granola, but a bit pricey.

Vance’s Apple Dumplings - E Ave W:77, 87, & 91

Peanut Butter Cup by Penn State Creamery: 9/10

Bacon on a Stick - N Ext Mach Row: 33

Jamaican Jerk Bacon on a Stick: 7/10

They were out of the garlic parm. The Jamaican Jerk was okay, not really something I’d probably get again, but I did like that it had a kick to it.

Stemmrich Blueberry Farms - 2nd Street: 131 / 135 / 139

Blueberry Chili Cheese Dog: 9/10

I have walked by this place for years wanting to try this dog, but it honestly doesn’t sound like it will mix. I finally gave it a try and was blown away. I’ll probably get one of these every year.

This is why you should always try something different, you may find a new favorite food item.

Feed the Beast Concessions - 5th Street: 41

Hot Wings: 6/10

Slushie: 8.5/10

I came here for the bull balls and they were sold out. Settled for some chicken wings that were very meh!

Pap’s Ribeye Steaks - 10th Street: 38

All American Smash Burger: 8.5/10

Too my knowledge, this place has only ever done ribeye sandwiches in the past and it looks like they expanded their menu. I have to say that this was a great smash burger. Bluebird still has the best that I’ve had at the fair, but I still have more to try next year.
