The 44th Annual Covered Bridge and Arts Festival, Bloomsburg, Pa. - October 8th-11th 2026
The Covered Bridge Festival is a post Bloomsburg Fair festival that encompasses the area of Gate 3, straight up until the midway on the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are both free.
Many of the food vendors at the fair stuck around for Covered Bridge. There used to be several other food vendors that participated that weren’t at the fair, but they have been dwindling more and more each year. If you’re looking for food options, there are definitely some good ones, but Berwick River Fest is much better.
Jackie’s French Fries and Funnle Cakes
Fries - 8/10.
These were pretty solid, nice and hot too!
Simply Bowls
Coconut base custom - 8/10.
This was pretty good. I’m not a huge desserts person, but it was good and has great presentation.
Island Noodles
Island Noodles w/ Teriyaki Chicken - 8/10.
Tastes like good Chinese food. A little pricey, but it was cooked fresh in front of me.
May’s
Chili Dog - 5/10.
Not as good as I remember. I think maybe getting it at the restaurant might be better. A little too sweet on the chili and the hot dog itself wasn’t that great.
Vesuvio’s
Italian Sub - 8/10.
This thing was tasty and there’s so much meat that you’ll get the sweats. The people that work here are great and, we talked baseball while they made my sub. Unfortunately they don’t have pizza for the Covered Bridge, but they make up for it with their subs.
